For Sale at Auction: 2002 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in Scottsdale, Arizona
This 2002 Chevrolet ZL1 Phase III supercar is powered by a 600hp
427ci engine and paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. These
vehicles were ordered and built as B4C police cars under the
Chevrolet COPO program and further completed by GMMG, Inc. This
limited-edition car is #55 of only 60 produced by GMMG, Inc., and
is one of 31 built with the Phase 3 C5R race engine producing
600hp. This supercar has a Callies 4340 forged crank, Callies 4340
forged connecting rods, JE lightweight pistons with file fit rings,
CNC ported LS6 heads, engraved Wilson ZL1 intake manifold, Hi-Flow
mass air flow housing and 1-7/8-inch ceramic-coated headers with
electric cutouts. Additional features include cat-back chambered
exhaust with stainless tips, carbon-fiber-type air box lid, front
and rear 1.5-inch Eibach lowering springs, Penske racing shocks
PS-7540Sa series that are double adjustable, special front and rear
sway bars, 1LE front and rear upper and lower control arms, Z06
front and rear calipers with Corvette pads and slotted Z06 rotors,
underdrive pulleys and belts as well as a Panhard bar. The exterior
features a GM SS hood with SS spoiler, hood, roof and decklid
stripe with 600hp decals. The Charcoal Metallic grille has the
1969-style Bowtie emblem, and signatures under the hood are from
GMMG builders as well as other 2002 ZL1 owners. The rear panel is
painted black with high-polished stainless Camaro letters.
Additionally, there is a GM power antenna and rearview mirror with
compass, temperature and an auto dimmer, keyless remote entry with
illuminated interior features with a theft-deterrent alarm system,
white Hurst shift ball with a short-throw shift stick and a
cloisonne HP/TQ dash plaque. Special emblems have been placed
throughout the exterior, interior and engine bay, and a GMMG bronze
tag inside the door jamb verifies the authenticity of this car's
build history. There is also a GMMG numbered door jamb plate, as
well as Zl1 car numbers on front windows and rearview mirror.
Includes original Window Sticker, ZL1 Supercar options invoice, ZL1
Supercar package content sheet, ZL1 binder and customer delivery
invoice. Has 385 miles (the title reads mileage exempt). **MAY NOT
