When the Silver Spirit and its long-wheelbase counterpart, the Silver Spur, were substantially redesigned for the 1996 model year, the company created the Silver Dawn, based on the longer Silver Spur model. All were based on the Rolls-Royce/Bentley SZ platform and powered by the company’s famed 6.75 litre V-8 engine—a platform and power plant shared with numerous other Rolls-Royce and Bentley models from 1980 through 2003.
Beautifully finished in a rare, striking color combination of "Red Pearl" (Code 9540000) exterior, complimented by the Connolly leather "Parchment" (Code A3672) interior with Red piping (Code A3086.) The exterior finish is excellent and the interior is spectacular, with the upholstery complimented by red Wilton wool carpets (along with accessory plush Persian lambswool floor mats), with a tan mohair headliner and genuine burled walnut wood garnish moldings and dashboard, this was the ultimate incarnation of Rolls-Royce luxury in 1996.
The chrome and trim, including the legendary Rolls-Royce grille are all in outstanding condition. All of the power options, seats, windows, etc. are working as they should as are the heater and air conditioning systems. This is an odor-free car, owned and used by non-smokers throughout its life.
