Vehicle Description
This 1965 Impala SS Convertible is a factory-equipped
air-conditioned car that has undergone a professional frame-off
rotisserie restoration and has been upgraded with modern technology
with a Pro-Touring setup. Freshly painted in black over a black
interior and black convertible top. Power comes from a 454ci V8
engine fitted with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection mated to
a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission turning a posi-traction
rear end with 3.73 gears. The engine is cooled by an aluminum
radiator with electronic fans and breathes through a custom-built
exhaust system consisting of silver ceramic-coated headers routed
through 3-inch stainless-steel pipes and stainless Flowmaster
mufflers. The completely detailed undercarriage with a
powder-coated frame is fitted with modern suspension upgrades,
including QA1 coilover suspension, front sway bar and a Panhard
bar. The exterior features LED headlights set in a black satin
grille, with the rear trim also finished in matching black satin.
The interior is mostly original with a center console, power
windows and upgraded Dakota Digital dash instrumentation. Wilwood
drilled and slotted disc brakes provide the stopping power, 14-inch
rotors up front with 6-piston Wilwood calipers and 12 inches out
back with 4-piston calipers. This custom Impala also features power
steering and rides on Ridler wheels, 18 inches up front with 20
inches in the rear, wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires.
