This 1968 Plymouth GTX custom coupe is powered by a fuel-injected
505ci big-block V8 engine paired to an automatic transmission. The
period-correct 440 engine was stroked to 505ci and built by Randy
Jackson of PRO Machine Service in Gun Barrel City, TX. The complete
restoration was finished about four years ago. The car sits on a
set of new polished 500 wheels with new tires. The interior is
completely restored with reworked door panels and console, as well
as reupholstered front seats. The gauges work properly, with the
dashboard gauge cluster being restored by Redline Gauge Works and
includes a FiTech LCD display. In addition, there are new
polyurethane bushings. The GTX features a Hotchkis sport suspension
kit with front and rear sway bars. Additional features include 7075
T6 billet aluminum main caps, FiTech fuel injection Go EFI 2x4
Power Adder 1200hp system, INDY Mod Man intake manifold, INDY
cylinder heads and INDY valve covers.
