This factory short-bed 1967 C10 was professionally built recently
by Hostetter's Hot Rods. The body is done in PPG Atlantis Blue. All
the panels on the truck are new sheet metal. The truck was
bodyworked after being completely assembled to get a mirror-like
reflection. It sports a set of custom GSI billet exterior door
handles. The engine bay has a custom firewall, as well as custom
upper and lower radiator filler panels. It has a set of Slosh Tubz
inner fenders that have custom sheet metal panels for a cleaner
look. The engine is a 5.3-liter LS V8 engine with a custom Velocity
sheet metal intake and polished coil pack covers. It has a set of
stainless-steel TIG welded headers and matching TIG welded
stainless exhaust system with GSI hangers. To feed the LS engine
there is a Boyd Welding aluminum gas tank with an in tank
Aeromotive fuel pump. The fuel system is done in a combination of
braided stainless line and hard stainless fuel lines with AN
fittings and a billet in-line filter. It has a 4L60E transmission
and torque converter from Karway Transmissions. The rear end is a
narrowed 9-inch Ford with 3.55 gears, professionally shortened and
assembled by AZ Differential. The rear suspension has tubular
trailing arms with polished adjustable coilover shocks. The rear
frame has been C-notched to accommodate for the low ride height.
The chassis has custom center and rear Porter Built crossmembers.
The front suspension has upper and lower tubular control A-arms
with 2.5-inch drop spindles and a set of polished adjustable
coilover shocks. The truck has 4-wheel disc brakes with a
Hydro-Boost setup and an aluminum Wilwood master cylinder; the
brake lines are done in stainless steel by Fuller Fabrications. The
interior is finished in Dove Gray and has a custom Snowden seat
with custom-wrapped steering wheel, door panels, dash pad and kick
panels by Ceballos Customs. To keep passengers comfortable, the
truck is equipped with Vintage Air with a billet control panel. It
has a billet steering wheel and polished stainless steering column
with all new shafts and U-joints. There is a beautiful carbon-fiber
Dakota Digital instrument cluster. The truck has a new American
Auto wiring harness, Muscle Rod performance engine harness and
flashed ECU. Inside the cab, back side of fenders and bottom side
of bed, as well as the bottom of the cab, have been cleaned and
coated with Raptor Liner for a quieter ride. Dynamat is present
under the carpet to keep inside the cab as quiet as possible. The
truck is sitting on an amazing set of custom Curtis Speed Shop
billet wheels. The fronts are 18x8 inches and the rears are 20x12
inches with Pirelli tires. The bed wood is MAR-K oak done in a
Smoke Gray. All glass has been replaced.
