Vehicle Description
This 1960 Ford Starliner is a complete frame-off restoration that
was finished in January 2020 by Armando's Custom Upholstery garage.
Smoothed firewall, a fresh coat of custom-mixed PPG black paint and
fresh chrome was installed. The frame was stripped and painted
Toyota Black, then a custom front airbag system was installed,
along with custom lowered leaf springs with air shocks out back.
The 292 Y-block V8 engine was replaced with a rebuilt 390 FE
featuring an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold combo paired
to a rebuilt C6 transmission, with a Lokar shifter. Additional
features include a Sanden compressor with passenger-side conversion
using Allen Grove Components bracketry, customized billet aluminum
valve covers, air cleaner and aluminum reservoirs. Borgeson power
steering conversion, custom Champion radiator,and ceramic-coated
exhaust manifolds, finished with a handmade 2 1/2-inch exhaust with
Flowmaster mufflers exiting at the rear bumper. There's a Wilwood
master cylinder, 13-inch rotors with 6-piston calipers up front,
and 12-inch rotors with single-piston caliper rear going on the
rebuilt Ford 9-inch rear end. The brake system also features
stainless-steel brake lines. The car rides on 20-inch U.S. Mags
wheels. The interior features Torch Fire Red leather, Lexus power
seats, a leveled floor, handmade center console with AV system and
backup camera, smoothed dash, rebuilt gauge cluster, billet
aluminum steering wheel, Vintage Air climate control panel, new
interior chrome pieces and a finished trunk. It also has Lokar
pedals and all-new glass.
