Vehicle Description
This is the original 1932 Ford Roadster built and once owned by Sam
Conrad, a founding member of the LA Roadsters car club. This
notable vehicle has been featured in films that include "Hot Rods
to Hell" as well as countless magazines, most notably Road and
Track, MotorTrend and Hot Rod, which detailed the exact build of
the car. What makes this vehicle so incredible is not only the
connection with Bob Gorby, one of the most famous hot-rodders in
history, but the connection to what some considered to be one of
the most iconic musical groups, the Beach Boys. The Sam Conrad
roadster not only appeals to the general automobile enthusiast but
to hot-rodders, music lovers and car collectors around the world.
Included with the vehicle is a multitude of magazines, photographs,
original 1963 California license plate JFS 003, LA Roadster tag
plate, hand-drawn schematics, handwritten notes, service records
and Bob Gorby's personal documented ownership history of the car.
