Vehicle Description
This custom 1964 Lincoln Continental convertible is, to say the
least, over the top. This hot-rod Lincoln nicknamed "Harvey" is
powered by a 408ci Windsor-based stroker V8 engine rated at 450hp
This highly detailed engine is painted to match the interior and
sits in a custom sheet-metal engine bay painted and polished as
nice as the outside. Cooled by an aluminum radiator and electric
fans, the engine features a street roller cam, Pro Comp aluminum
heads, Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine belt system and
custom Sanderson ceramic-coated headers and exhaust, all topped
with a Holley Sniper Self Tuning EFI system. The engine is backed
by a built C6 automatic transmission and stops on a dime with
custom 4-wheel disc brakes featuring 6-piston polished calipers and
oversized slotted rotors with a Wilwood master cylinder. The car
features adjustable air suspension and lays flat on the ground when
all the way down and is equipped with custom-built upper and lower
tubular control arms, Slam Specialties air bags, shocks at all four
corners and custom rear suspension to allow for a smooth ride. The
car rolls on a set of three-piece Forgiato wheels and was featured
in the Forgiato booth at SEMA. The mirror-finished Jet-Black paint
and body is what makes this Lincoln stand out. No corners were cut,
with over 500-man hours invested. This project started with a
rust-free California car stripped to bare metal. The car was
blocked in three stages to a mirror finish. The chrome and trim
have all been professionally restored to a brilliant shine. A
custom diamond-stitched Peanut Butter-colored leather interior
highlights the cockpit of this car. A custom-built JL Audio system
has been installed with Bluetooth technology. The black high-end
canvas convertible top is fully functional and has been rebuilt by
the best in the business at Convertible Lincolns.
