This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 429 Super Cobra Jet features a Drag
Pack and is highly optioned. Serial #1F05J1000028 was built very
early, ordered and sold to Ford Canada as a promotional show car to
promote the 1971 model during the 1960s and 1970s Ford dealer
introductory shows in the United States and Canada. This
special-order car features Grabber Green Metallic with a black
deluxe interior. It came loaded with 20 options, including Ram Air,
429ci Super Cobra Jet engine with Drag Pack and a 4.11 Detroit
Locker mated to a C6 SelectShift automatic transmission, Magnum 500
wheels wrapped in F60-15 tires, power steering, power brakes, sport
"fold-down" rear seats, rear spoiler, side stripes, convenience
group, console, power windows, AM/8-track stereo, deluxe belts and
warning lights and rear window defroster. The Window Sticker was
nearly $6,200; one of the most expensive muscle car builds. It is
