Vehicle Description
This 1969 Ford Cobra Formal Hardtop is equipped with the factory
Drag Pack option and was built to compete against Plymouth's Road
Runner. This car was built on the Loran, OH, assembly line as a
true factory 428 Cobra Jet Drag Pack, then sold through a
dealership in Canada. This car features the formal roofline and has
received a full rotisserie restoration. Beneath the scooped hood is
a factory-correct R-code 428ci Cobra Jet Ram Air engine that is
balanced and blueprinted, mated to a factory-correct 4-speed manual
close-ratio transmission. It is one of 10 Cobras built with this
driveline and the 3.91 Traction-Lok differential, one of seven with
power front disc brakes, and one of just three ordered with a
factory tachometer. The interior is original except for the new
carpet. The exterior is one of 91 finished in its correct factory
color of Gulfstream Aqua. It sits the on correct new Goodyear
F70-14 Polyglas tires. Reproduction Window Sticker and Marti Report
