Vehicle Description
Professionally restored in 2021, this 1972 Chevrolet K10 4x4
short-bed pickup is powered by GM's 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8
engine. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 4L80E automatic
transmission and NP205 transfer case bolstered by a 12-bolt rear
end with 3.42 gears. The LSA V8 features a custom intake and is
kept cool by an aluminum radiator with dual fans and rumbles thanks
to a 2.5-inch exhaust system. Additionally, the fuel tank was
relocated to the rear bed, and the truck has been upgraded with
Hydro-Boost assisted brakes. Finished in PPG Torch Red over white,
the Chevy features a powder-coated frame and suspension, as well as
Rhino-lined bed and inner fenders. Further modifications include a
smoothed firewall, deluxe side moldings, new smoked glass and new
chrome. Inside, the K10 has Classic Auto air conditioning, tilt
steering column, Dakota Digital gauges, 15-inch custom steering
wheel, Dynamat sound insulation and aluminum Retrosound Bluetooth
stereo system with speakers on the kick panels. The interior has
been custom-made by TMI with black and red stitching bench seat,
door panels, dash pad, deluxe headliner, black carpet and Chevy
Bowtie sill plates.
