This 1967 Plymouth GTX custom Resto-Mod finished in Lite Blue
Metallic with white stripes underwent a five-year rotisserie
restoration that was completed in 2011. It is powered by an
upgraded Keith Black 426ci aluminum HEMI V8 engine, block #503.
Rebuilt and installed, the engine is backed by a TREMEC 5-speed
transmission with a Hurst pistol-grip shifter linked to a Dana 60
rear end with 4.10 gears. Outlaw ladder bars were added, along with
tubbing to accommodate the Mickey Thompson N50/15 tires and Magnum
500 wheels. Features Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners,
AlterKtion front suspension system, stainless-steel headers and
custom 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The
interior carpets were replaced, and there is new white upholstery
for the buckets and bench seats. A custom-fabricated roll bar was
installed and painted to match the interior. Includes a folder of
receipts and the original Fender Tag, along with a duplicate Fender
Tag; both uninstalled and will accompany the vehicle. Since
restoration, the GTX has been driven 710 miles.
