Vehicle Description
This 1965 Mustang has been re-created into a 1966 Shelby GT350
tribute. Built to specification by Holman Moody employees and
powered by a 302ci V8 engine. The engine has been fitted with
tunnel port heads, tunnel port dual-quad intake with Holley
carburetors. The engine is fed by a custom fuel tank and breathes
via a set of long-tube headers with electronic cutouts. Power is
sent to the rear wheels via a Ford Toploader 4-speed manual
transmission with Ford 9-inch rear end and Detroit Locker
differential with 4.11:1 rear-axle ratio. The Mustang has been
upgraded with 4-wheel disc brakes that feature functional
NASCAR-style cooling ducts. Additional features include a detailed
undercarriage, roll bar, 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust
wheels, radio/heater delete and restoration receipts. Owned by the
same family for the past 30 years and displayed in the Auto Racing
Hall of Fame for ten of those years. Includes a binder of
restoration receipts.
