The iconic 1970 Challenger R/T 440 Magnum. This stunning rotisserie
restoration has all the original sheet metal, and was beautifully
re-painted in Bright Red. As the VIN indicates, this car is an
authentic U-Code R/T 440, built in Los Angeles, October 1969. This
is a show-quality restoration completed by a true Mopar builder and
enthusiast using the E-Body restoration manual as a guide on the
correct nuts, bolts and factory markings. The body is
super-straight with excellent gaps and the chrome shines like a
mirror. The highly detailed engine compartment is extremely correct
right down to the factory markings and decals, aftermarket trim
tag. It houses a date-coded 440ci V8 engine, which has been
completely rebuilt. The car rides on the correct 14-inch road
wheels and Goodyear Polyglas F70 tires. The interior, trunk
compartment and undercarriage are also very detailed and correct
down to the factory markings and includes a vintage spare tire. The
fender tag contains the following codes including N85 tachometer,
R11 AM radio, V21 performance hood, 26-inch radiator, G31/G33
chrome mirrors, H51 air conditioning, J25 3-speed wipers, M21 drip
moldings, N41 dual exhaust, N42 chrome exhaust tips, FE5 Bright Red
paint, A62 rally instrument cluster, B51 power brakes, C16 center
console, H6X9 black high-back bucket seats, E86 440ci 4-barrel
high-performance engine and D32 727 TorqueFlite automatic
transmission. Driven lightly since restoration and kept under cover
in a climate-controlled garage. Trickle charger is included in
sale, as well as car cover, binder and flash drive visually
documenting the extensive restoration, maintenance receipts from
current owner, service repair manual and owner's manual.
