Vehicle Description
This BMW Deep Green Metallic Plymouth Suburban custom wagon is
powered by a built 383ci V8 engine mated to a 700R4 automatic
transmission. Multiple manufactures carried the Suburban name
throughout the years. It wasn't until 1988 when General Motors was
awarded an exclusive trademark on the Suburban name. This Plymouth
Suburban Wagon underwent an extensive frame-off restoration which
is documented with a photo album. The body was taken down to a bare
shell on a rotisserie. During this process, the center pillar was
removed making the rear glass one piece rather than a two-piece,
the gas filler was also relocated in the rear quarter and
retrofitted with a modern gas cap. All of the tinted glass is new,
it's also equipped with modern headlights. The engine compartment
is painted and highly detailed throughout. The heart of this street
rod is a GM 383ci V8 stroker tune port fuel-injected engine that is
dressed with tons of polished and billet accessories including the
power steering pump. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator
with dual fans. The engine breathes through ceramic headers and a
custom MagnaFlow side exhaust system with custom tips. The engine
is coupled to a 700R4 automatic transmission and Ford Currie 9-inch
posi-traction rear end that has been powder-coated silver. The
frame has also been completely modified and powder-coated silver.
It's equipped with four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled and
slotted rotors, as well as a Heidts Mustang II front end with
tubular A-arms and coilovers and a rear 4-link suspension system
with coilovers. A custom-made gas tank was added to the rear. The
two-tone Ultraleather custom interior was professionally done and
includes the headliner, door panels, rear panels, bucket seats,
rear seats and carpeting. Some additional interior upgrades include
a painted dash, Dolphin gauges, polished tilt steering column,
Billet Specialties steering wheel, climate control and a custom
sound system. The spacious trunk compartment matches as well. It
has a killer stance on the Boyd Coddington polished wheels with
BFGoodrich G-Force tires. It has been serviced and detailed, which
is documented with an invoice that is included.
