Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Resto-Mod was originally an L34 396
SS, now featuring a 572ci BluePrint fuel-injected engine pushing
750hp and 609 ft/lbs of torque running on 91 octane pump gas with
about 400 miles since completion. Accompanied with the car is the
Protect-O-Plate, the original owner's manual, and a binder full of
restoration receipts and documents. Almost everything is new or was
rebuilt during the restoration process. Other upgrades include a
FiTech Fuel injection system with electric fuel pump, Lakewood
Bellhousing, front and rear disc brakes with a Wilwood master
cylinder, drilled and slotted rotors, MSD components, 18-inch front
and 20-inch rear wheels on BFGoodrich tires, Lemon Headers with
electric exhaust cutouts and Flowmaster exhaust. Suspension
components include Summit tubular a-arms, Energy Suspension sway
and track bars, UMI rear control arms, polyurethane body mount
bushings, Ididit steering column and power steering. The
transmission is an Auto Gear Muncie Super Case made from aluminum
alloy with thick walls around the entire case plus additional
material on the front with stronger, thicker, reinforced mounting
ears, fully sealed front main bearing, O-ring sealed fill, and
magnetic drain plug. The rebuilt 12-bolt rear end has 3.73 gears
with Posi-Traction and is original to the car along with the OEM
bumpers, brightwork, inner fender wells, front fenders and glass.
The interior is brand new with sound deadening installed, new seat
foam and a custom Autosound stereo.
