This 3100 has a recently rebuilt 350ci V8 engine with aluminum
heads, serpentine drive belt system, mild cam and Edelbrock
multi-port fuel injection. The transmission is a TH350 automatic
with a B&M torque converter. The differential has been rebuilt
with 3.08 gears, all new bearings, two new axles and Eaton
posi-traction differential. The paint is PPG base and clear coat.
The interior includes a Vintage Air unit, carpeting, new glass and
modern Bluetooth stereo. The suspension is Heidts independent
Mustang II-style front end with power rack & pinion steering,
vacuum-assisted front disc brakes with rear leaf spring suspension
and drum brakes. Inside is an Ididit tilt steering column and the
dash gauges are stock and all function as they should. During
restoration the wiring was replaced and the fuse panel updated. The
fuel tank was moved to the rear of the truck from behind the seat,
where the speakers now reside for optimum sound.
