Vehicle Description
This 1955 Chevrolet 3100 custom 5-window pickup has undergone a
full frame-off restoration with the frame now completely boxed in.
It's powered by a Chevrolet LS engine mated to a new 4L60E
automatic transmission with a 2800 stall torque converter, and has
a Ford Racing rear end with 4-link 8.8-inch posi-traction with 3.55
gears. The suspension has been upgraded to a Mustang ll unit with
QA 1 coilovers, disc brakes, and power rack & pinion steering. The
interior has been completely redone as well to feature a modern
style complete with power windows, chrome tilt steering column,
Dolphin gauges, Vintage Air Heritage under-dash climate control
system and a new wiring harness. It also features a MAR-K oak wood
bed, new smoke-tinted glass with all new weatherstripping, hood
ornament, chrome grille and stainless-steel trim around the
windshield. The exterior of the truck has been finished with
Sikkens Brown metallic and three-stage Pearl White.
