Since its restoration, this meticulously maintained Impala is
turn-key and ready to be enjoyed. It is finished in Ermine White
(Code 963) with a turquoise vinyl interior decor (Code 853). A true
California car assembled in Van Nuys, it underwent a frame-off
restoration, including a powder-coated frame, factory-correct red
oxide primer on the underbody and new glass. Completely restored
suspension, trim and interior, with all parts either rebuilt
original, NOS or GM-licensed parts. The original 250hp
configuration was upgraded with date-code-correct cast-iron
"Double-Hump" performance heads to reach its current 300hp rating.
Loaded with options, including tilt steering column, power
steering, power-assisted drum brakes, power windows and power
quarter-window vents, 6-way power bench seat, cruise control,
day/night compass, door handle shields, gas cap shield, original
front "California bumper" and rear bumper guards, dual outside
mirrors, restored original AM radio, four-way flashers, tissue
dispenser, power trunk release, original-style Delco battery and
wire wheel hubcaps - all riding on original-style bias-ply
whitewall tires. Driven approximately 2,800 miles since its
restoration.
