This 1957 Volkswagen Beetle has been restored and finished in Coral
Red with the correct German tan cloth interior. The 1200cc
air-cooled engine was rebuilt to factory specifications. The car
was stripped and repainted with attention to detail; all the rubber
seals, chrome and stainless trim was either replaced or restored.
The car comes with a German square-weave carpet installed and has
AM radio with ivory push-buttons. The original VW wheels were
painted to match with chrome hubcaps installed wrapped in whitewall
tires. The car still has the original Yanase Japanese Import tag
under the front hood, as Volkswagens of this era were imported
through the Yanase Automobile Company.
