This 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon Weekender Edition was taken down to
bare metal and underwent a ground-up restoration that was completed
in late 2019. It is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Subaru engine
backed by an automatic transmission. Features new suspension, a
big-brake kit, custom roof rack, road shower, custom ladder on the
hatchback, spare tire with custom matching rim, rear tire cover, a
custom stereo and sound system, backup camera, LED interior lights,
pop-top with a new tent, all-new front and rear upholstery, as well
as new tires with custom rims that were added less than 500 miles
ago. Finished in a new paint job that had a custom wrap by SS
Customs in San Carlos, CA. About 20,000 miles have been added since
restoration. Recently serviced and includes bonus camping gear
including stove with the sale. CARFAX shows California stolen
report on 01/12/1993: Vehicle reported stolen and recovered after
theft.
