Vehicle Description
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 re-creation coupe underwent a full
multi-year restoration as a Z28/RS tribute car. The exterior was
refinished in the original British Green and a new black vinyl top
with the existing white Z/28 stripes and fender emblems retained.
The original powertrain was replaced with a GM Performance 350ci
ZZ4 crate engine mated to a late-model Muncie 4-speed transmission
with a performance clutch. Features include a Holley Vintage Series
air cleaner, valve covers powder-coated to match the exterior,
long-tube headers, dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and a
posi-traction 12-bolt rear end. Additionally, it features new power
disc brakes, lower control arms installed with sport lowering
springs up front, a new fuel tank with new hoses and lines and
power steering. The vacuum-operated RS headlights have been
serviced as well. The factory bucket seats and interior have been
reupholstered in the original Parchment White with black loop
carpet. Additional interior features include a Hurst shifter, OEM
gauges and an aftermarket stereo system. It rides on American
Racing Torq Thrust D wheels wrapped in Cooper Zeon tires.
