This Oldsmobile 442 Convertible Indy Pace Car convertible underwent a professional frame-off rotisserie restoration and is one of 264 convertibles that include the Y74 option stamped on cowl tag. Powered by a 455ci V8 engine backed by a Ram-Air Turbo-Hydromantic 400 automatic transmission with limited slip rear end. Features power steering, power brakes, new GM replacement quality convertible top, an AM/FM radio, and dual sport outside mirrors with driver's side remote. It rides on factory Super Stock II wheels wrapped in Firestone Wide Oval tires. This 1970 Oldsmobile 442 which was the high-performance version of the Cutlass model with only a total of 628 pace car replicas for 1970. Starting with a 4-4-2, buyers checked off the Y74 option and, for $385, got a special hood, N66 Super Stock II wheels, sport-style mirrors, special tires, and pace car decals. Of those 628 Pace cars only 264 were convertibles.
