Vehicle Description
This 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 is an all-original first-generation
roadster. It has been kept in a climate-controlled garage for the
last 27 years. Shown in its Viper Red with gray leather interior
and black carpeting, with only 5,024 miles on the odometer. This
all-original car has its 8.0-liter V10 engine factory-rated at
400hp and 465 ft/lbs of torque and a TREMEC T56 6-speed manual
gearbox. The Viper roadster was touted by Carroll Shelby as the
"Spiritual Successor" to his 427 Cobra from the 1960s. Under the
one-piece clamshell hood lies a massive 8.0-liter, 20-valve V10
with an aluminum block and heads, including port fuel injection.
This open-top roadster goes from 0 to 60 in a scant 4.3 seconds and
will cover the standing quarter-mile in 12.8 seconds at 109 mph. A
6-speed manual TREMEC T56 transmission will get you rowing through
the gears with ease, and a limited-slip differential transfers the
power to the massive 335/35/17-inch rear tires to the ground.
Classic roadster styling on the outside with modern appointments
inside; the factory three-spoke steering wheel centers a
white-faced speedometer and tachometer, accompanied by auxiliary
gauges mounted at the center stack. Classic gray leather bucket
style seats hug the occupant and keep them planted in position
through the corners. A factory stereo with dual 8-inch subwoofer
will keep you entertained, but the sound of the massive V10 exiting
through OEM side pipes is music to anyone's ears. Additional
details include a Targa-style roll bar, Viper R/T 10 badging and a
surprising lack of exterior door handles. **SOME STATES ISSUE
