This 1968 C10 pickup is a complete frame-off build with 1,800
break-in miles. This build started with an original cab and frame,
adding all new bed metal and mini-tubbed rear wheel wells. Next the
C-notched frame, new fenders, painted and patina finish were added.
For the drive a 406ci small-block engine custom-built with a COMP
Cams hydraulic roller cam and World Products ported and polished
2.02-1.6-inch valve cylinder heads. Topping off the powerhouse is a
Holley Sniper EFI fuel-injected system with a new under-bed fuel
pump-equipped aluminum gas tank. For an added boost there is a
150hp shot nitrous system that has not been fired yet. For stopping
power there is a new CPP power brake booster-assisted front disc
brakes and rear drum brakes. For the perfect engine sound there are
Hooker headers and a Flowmaster 2.5-inch dual exhaust. The engine
drives a new 700R4 overdrive transmission with 3.73 gears and a
TrueTrac posi-traction rear end. To finish the custom frame, there
is a CPP 5-inch drop Pro-Touring front suspension and a 7-inch drop
4-link rear suspension with coils utilizing the Supreme Suspensions
C-notch and lowering blocks, along with a front sway bar, for that
perfect look and handling. The pickup rides on 20-inch custom
American Racing rims and 20x15-inch Mickey Thompson rear tires. The
new TMI interior features bucket seats, carpet and center console.
Also equipped with an Ididit tilt steering column that centers the
Intellitronix digital gauges and is finished off with a new Retro
Classic Sound digital radio. The body is trimmed with LED lights
and markers. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
