This 1996 Ford F-250 XLT is a Crew Cab Short Box that came from the
Pacific NW so it is a clean and rust free truck. This is an
extremely nice Ford OBS Crew cab with the very desirable short box
bed. It is getting very hard to find nice examples of this truck
now and you can see this truck was pampered and cared for. It was
always stored indoors and maintained consistently over the years.
The body on this rig is very clean and straight and it appears to
still have all of its original paint. The color is Oxford White and
the paint is still in beautiful original condition. It still has
all of its original chrome, trim and bumpers and they are in
excellent shape. This truck has a leveling kit on it and the front
bumper was shimmed out slightly to fit the bigger tires. It has a
great look!!!
The interior on this F250 is about as nice as they come . It is
super clean and in near mint condition. Everything is original with
the exception of the upgraded stereo. It is rare to see 3/4 ton
trucks with an interior so nice. The headlights, brakelights,
taillights, and turn signals are all working. It has power windows
and locks which are working and tilt wheel. All of the gauges work,
the cruise works, heat, wipers, and horn are working. This is an AC
truck and it appears the AC is blowing cold but it is hard to tell
how cold in this weather. It also has Weathertech Floor Mats.
Mechanically this truck is top notch with over $8,600 of recent
maintenance backed up by receipts. It runs and drives excellent
down the road and it recently had a complete tune-up by the last
owner. He also recently did brakes, new u-joints, front ball
joints, and replaced all fluids. The engine is the original 7.5L
460 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags. The
transmission is the E40D Automatic that was replaced by Jasper
around 20,000 miles ago. The transmission shifts nice and it is
mated to the Borg Warner Manual Transfer Case. The 4WD works like
it should. The rear axle is a Sterling 10.25 with 4.10 gears and
the front axle is a Dana 44 TTB with 4.10 gears. This is all
sitting on a nice set of Weld Aluminum Wheels and a newer set of
Goodyear Duratrac tires size 285/75/16.
