The Euro-Spec cars were equipped with the S50 inline six-cylinder engine that produces 321 horsepower and 285 foot pounds of torque versus the US market S52 engine cars with 240 horsepower and 225 foot pounds of torque. US cars got the 5-speed gear box while the Euro-Spec came equipped with a 6-speed. Needless to say, the difference in performance is substantial.
This unique BMW M3 celebrated its 25th birthday in last year and arrived from Germany at the Port of Long Beach in July 2021. It took the long way through the Malibu canyons down the coast to La Jolla and then crossed the desert to Scottsdale where it waits to find its new home during auction week January 24, 2022.
