show AND go!
This frame off build was completed by 10/22/2011 and has the
receipts to go to its new owner, This Willys build was provided
with a Calmax DJM suspension with Panhard Bar. Tubular A-arms and
coil over shocks hold everything together up front. A 4-wheel disc
brake conversion makes stopping all this horsepower easy along with
a Lokar emergency braking system. Rocket Racing Wheels are featured
on all 4 corners of the car and wrapped in radial tires.
The engine is a 350 Stroked to 383 CID. A Holley 4-barrel carb and
an Edelbrock tunnel ram intake sits atop this beast producing 400
horsepower. It has a COMP Cam with .490 lift on intake and .475
lift on exhaust and a lobe lift of .327 intake and .317 on exhaust.
With lots of chrome, billet and polished stainless, this engine
really stands out in a crowd. A Turbo 400 is mated with this 383
Stroker to give you smooth shifting and reliability. Additionally a
black powder coated dual exhaust finishes it off and gives it the
rumble needed to let people know you have arrived!
The fiberglass body has received the same attention to detail as
the chassis. The hood unclips from the front end allowing you to
lift it off with ease. Or for easy access to work anywhere in the
engine compartment you can unclip the front end and lean it
forward, straps keep it easily secured in the forward position. The
silver decal strips flow smoothly over the body along with the hand
painted accents stripes that pop in all the right places. This 1941
Willys street rod is dressed in a Cream Orange Paint and gives it
the right look with the Rocket Racing wheels.
The interior features a set of Saddle Brown Vinyl bucket seats.
Door panels and other soft surfaces are covered in the same
matching Saddle brown vinyl. The custom headliner was made with the
same attention to detail as the complete interior. It all matches
and looks amazing with a very high quality throughout the entire
build. A tilt steering column & rally steering wheel add to driver
comfort as does the A/C and Flip out touch screen AM/FM/CD player .
Carbon fiber faced Auto Meter Ultra Lite gauges keep you informed
of all the important things going on under the hood. The trunk is
nicely finished, matching the interior, with the fuel filler in the
trunk also. The custom interior was completed in 2013 and the
receipt is included along with the other receipts.
This is a very nice Willys that comes with a photo album
