It doesn't get much more exciting then a 67 corvette with a big
block. Shifting the gears, hearing the roar of the motor is an
awesome feeling. It has no shortage of good looks either.
EXTERIOR: The body and paint are exceptionally nice. No damage, the
gaps are nice. According to the trim tag it is repainted it's
original Marlboro Maroon color. The paint is real slick, it looks
like a piece of candy. Polished very smooth and glossy. I love the
stinger hood! Jambs are painted slick. The chrome is shiny,
weatherstrips are nice, glass is clear. New black convertible top.
The headlights open and close properly. The BFGoodrich tires look
like new, 15 inch rally wheels.
INTERIOR: Soft leather upholstery and rare headrests. It also has a
rare telescopic steering column. The dash pads, glovebox door,
steering wheel are in excellent shape. The gauges are clean, it has
correct 6,000 tachometer for a 427. Upgraded Hurst shifter. There
is a modern stereo and speakers mounted behind the seats on a
removable panel. The door panels are excellent.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 427 was replaced with an early 70s 454. It
has some performance upgrades including aluminum intake, big Demon
carb and Sanderson headers. It is dressed up with chrome. An
upgraded radiator with dual electric fans keeps it cool.
UNDERSIDE: The front end looks like it's been gone through.
Steering components, bushings and shocks were replaced. The rear
independent suspension has been gone through too. Recent dual
exhaust with Flo Pro mufflers. Looking up at the motor it has a
Miloden oil pan and high torque starter. There's a heavy duty
bellhousing attached to the Muncie 4-speed.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
will be given a 1 year membership.
