The paint stays close to the 1969-only Glacier Blue. It was an
upgrade later in life, and so you have a finish that retains a nice
gloss in the sunshine. And the white stripes look like the polar
caps to this arctic color package. So we're glad they were painted
on and cleared over with the full finish for a more permanent and
quality impression. There are good details, like bright chrome
bumpers, 15-inch rally wheels, and a premium black vinyl roof. And
it also has the right Super Sport tribute pieces like the cowl
hood, deep chin spoiler blackout grille, correct badging, and D80
rear spoiler. It all makes for a standout car that you can also
tell was made to be driven and enjoyed.
The vinyl roof is also a preview of the full black interior. This
has a good look and the right classic features. So you'll
appreciate details like the headrests on the front bucket seats and
the horseshoe in the center console. But there also have been the
right investments here to upgrade this for better modern enjoyment.
This includes comforts like air conditioning and an AM/FM/CD
stereo. And it's upgraded to be a better driver with a wood-rimmed
sports steering wheel, auxiliary readouts in the console, and a
tach prominently mounted on the steering column.
The 350 cubic-inch motor has a nice sense of style. The
silver-painted block goes with function upgrades like the cast
Chevrolet valve covers, upgraded fan shroud, and the aluminum
radiator. This V8 was also built for added power with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding
into the dual exhaust. So while you may want to give it a tune-up
for optimal performance, you can already see the appeal of the
investment in the motor. There are good performance driving pieces,
like the rear traction bars and wide Cooper Cobra tires. But
really, you can tell this was just built to be a solid all-around
cruiser with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering,
power brakes, and front discs.
This is a classic Camaro SS tribute that's been given the right
custom touches for comfort and distinction. Don't miss this coupe,
