Vehicle Description
Officially past the 30-year mark and legitimately into classic
status, this 1992 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 has been treated with
the right kind of respect to welcome it into the new class of
vintage trucks. Plus, it has all the right features from
fuel-injected V8 power to a loaded extended cab interior. So it's
nice to see a practical long bed pickup presented with good
all-around respect.
We always love the possibilities with the extra-duty 2500-series
machines, but you're going to love it for more than just its
ability. The Olympic White and Light Blue Metallic is a tasteful
two-tone that shows all the right signs of being the original
application. Straight body panels, good weather-stripping, and
bright chrome bumpers show it has received far more respect over
the years than the average pickup. Even the odometer is believed to
reflect the full mileage, which is low compared to most of these
other HD trucks. It's not perfect, and so you may see some age in
the trim or a touch of patina on the hood. But for many of us, it's
just the right amount of aged-in style to show it has been given a
respected life. And of course, this one remains a useful pickup.
You have the HD 8-lug wheels, full side steps, side window wind
deflectors, a long bed with tie-down looks, and a proper trailer
hitch.
Just like the outside, the interior is both premium and preserved.
The pillow-top cloth pattern is exceptionally comfortable, and
since this is an extended cab, you can share the experience with up
to five more family and friends. One reason why a truck like this
is still in demand is that it's also a very comfortable machine. It
has features like power windows, power locks, cruise control, and
provisions for factory air conditioning (it will need servicing to
blow cold again.) This has a full gauge package, which is always
handy for real truck duty, and the tilt steering column gives you a
clear view of it all.
One of the big reasons you want a more modern classic pickup is
under the hood. After all, modern fuel-injected power on the
5.7-liter V8 is an advantage we all want. The engine bay looks
exceptionally preserved, right down to the correct decals and
working hood light. But you'll also spot the right maintenance
items that keep this Chevy a strong-running truck. Add in power
steering, power brakes w/discs up front, ABS, and a four-speed
automatic transmission w/overdrive, and this Silverado is a
fantastic any time cruising pickup.
Complete with owner's manual, we all are looking for the one
vehicle that can turn heads and still get to work. But only one
person can grab this deal. So don't miss out, call today!
