Vehicle Description
This 1957 Chevrolet 210 Restomod is an all-around awesome icon with
a bright style, brighter chrome, a hardy small block, and the
control of a four-speed. It makes for a terrific cruiser, and you
get to enjoy it all from the comfort of a full custom A/C
interior
Turquoise looks right on this Tri-five Chevy. It's the kind of
color you could have had in 1957, but the way this pops in the
sunshine lets you know it's a modern application for a more modern
machine. And the deep gloss loves to highlight the straight body
panels. The gaps are great, the rubber seals are nice, and the
brightwork is brilliant. It's a true rolling icon restored to a
standard fitting of its stature. That's why it earns the Bel Air
upgrades like the gold trim and stainless fin inserts. And while
the overall look delivers on the legendary style that defines the
American road, the modern Coys polished alloys with the 17/18-inch
front/rear aggressive stance lets everyone know there's a lot more
to this one than just its iconic appearance.
Just like the exterior, the interior delivers plenty of vintage
charm and plenty of well-integrated upgrades. For example, the
seats are two rows of wide benches, but the upholstery now has
vented inserts that add comfort and look like a modern sports car.
The door panels were even done to match. There's more tasteful tan
on the carpeting, steering wheel, and custom console. Plus, there's
a nice hint of classic color with the teal headliner and floor
mats. More than just looking great, this was upgraded to keep you
comfortable on the road. It includes an AM/FM/CD stereo with aux
input, cup holders, and cold-blowing air conditioning. It also has
some great driver upgrades, like the sports steering wheel on a
tilt steering column, Hurst shifter, and backlit auxiliary gauge
package, including a handy tach.
The engine bay has a nice style where the polished components are
seen radiating from within the black fender walls. And what you'll
really love is the 400 cubic-inch V8. After all, a Tri-Five like
this launched the small block era, and this upgrade is the largest
the factory ever offered. More than just displacement, this is
upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Weiand
aluminum intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. And while
this is powerful, don't forget to check out the supporting
components, too, like the aluminum radiator, electric fans,
upgraded pulleys, and battery concealed in the furnished trunk for
better weight distribution. This is a great power package, and the
four-speed manual transmission puts the control firmly in your
hands. Power steering, power brakes w/front discs, and modern sport
tires at all corners complete a restomod that was built to be
enjoyed.
This is one of those rare cars that celebrates its history while
squarely keeping its eye on the future. The trophies you pick up
