Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this awesome 1984 Subaru Brat GL which is in super nice overall condition. This Brat features great Silver paint with Brat decals, an original blue bucket seat interior, the stock engine and 4 speed manual transmission, and several dealer books and documents. This Brat is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Silver paint over Blue check Cloth interior.
Exterior
The Silver exterior is in terrific overall condition and shows very well. This Brat had super nice paint with very attractive decals and trim. The paint is in great overall condition and has a super shine, slick gloss, and is smooth to the touch. Both bumpers are in good overall condition. The factory T Tops are in excellent working order and are an excellent option to have on these and look so cool. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have near full tread left are were purchased in 2020 and are correctly sized 185/75 R13. The OEM wheels are in great overall shape and have no curb rash. The bed is in excellent shape and everything works as it should and the super cool jump seats are like new and are in working order with functional seat belts. The seats are very secure and the carpet is like new. The rear tail gate works properly and the bed of this truck is very solid. The rear sliding glass works properly on both sides.
Interior
The Blue Bucket Seat Cloth interior of this Brat is in excellent stock original condition. The seat covers appear to be original and in superb overall condition with no major wear, stains, or seam splits and are very comfortable. The carpet appears to be original and in great overall condition with no holes or major wear areas. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the gauges are crisp and clear. A non cracked dash on a Brat is very difficult to come by and a major hassle to repair if need be. The original stereo works well and sounds good. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner area is in like new and stock and pieces are functional. All interior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter and clock which is rare.
The horn, stereo, wipers, and blower motor all work. This Brat has factory air conditioning and all components remain in place and currently appears to blow cool air.
Mechanical
This Brat is in good mechanical condition and the trunk runs and drives well. Replacement shocks were added. A new battery was installed in 2018. The stock engine runs well and the transmission shifts smoothly. We have driven this Brat several times and it drives well, it does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. There are no loud rattles or annoying noises. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. A new alternator was added. The 4WD appears to function properly but we have not tested it off road. This Brat has been loved and well cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of the truck and the way it runs and drives validates that.
