Vehicle Description
West Coast Classics are proud to present a superb daily driving and
rust free and custom restored example of this reportedly original
southern California 1956 Ford Fairlane Park Lane 2 Door 6 passenger
Station Wagon with a 350 V8 engine matched to a Turbo 350 automatic
transmission in a beautiful and striking two-tone 'Red amp; Black'
color paint with a complimentary 'Red amp; White' interior. New
models for Ford in 1956 included this Fairlane Park Lane 2 Door
Station Wagon in response to Chevy's Bel Air Nomad 2 Door Station
Wagon. The car was created from the 2 Door Ranch Wagon adding
Fairlane trim and chrome covered B pillars which gave the car a
very sporty and even flashy look. It was previously reportedly an
always garaged southern California example with no history of any
accidents or rust and with the floor boards, trunk and all the
typical rust-prone areas solid. The car has a striking repaint in
two-tone 'Red over Black' color paint and has a nicely restored
'Red amp; White' custom interior. The 350 V8 engine is strong and
powerful and the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears.
The car has power brakes and dealer installed air conditioning.
