Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette has plenty of muscle under the hood
and that truly classic sports car look, both inside and out. 1967
was the final year of the C2 Corvettes, known for their aerodynamic
appearance and sporty feel. The body lines were clean and modern,
which is why many consider the Mid-Year Corvette one of the best
looking iterations ever produced by Chevrolet. Introduced in 1967
was the new louvered front fenders which were functional, keeping
the engine compartment cooler than previous years. The 1967 Sting
Rays also featured some new standard safety features including dual
master cylinder and 4 wheel disc brakes which improved braking
reliability on these sporty fiberglass-bodied muscle cars. The
interiors also underwent a minor re-fresh in '67, with the
upholstery seeing a new design, removal of the passenger grab bar
above the glove box, and the parking brake lever relocated from
under the dash to beside the driver. Interestingly, the Corvette
Coupes were actually more rare than the Convertibles which made up
more than 60% of the overall production. Powering this particular
'67 Corvette Coupe is a Numbers Matching 327 Cubic Inch V8 with a
Holley Single 4 Barrel Carburetor that pushed out 300 horsepower in
its day. The 327 V8 is hooked up to a 4 speed manual transmission
that makes this Sting Ray an absolute blast to drive. Like all
standard 1967 Corvettes, a dual master cylinder is paired with 4
wheel disc brakes which improves the reliability of the braking
system and makes bringing this Chevy to stop much easier. One of
the coolest features on this '67 Corvette Coupe is the retractable
hide-away headlights, which pop up and down with the simple flick
of a switch. The exterior on this Stingray has been beautifully
refinished in Rally Red for that truly eye-catching look. This
Vette rides on 4 P215/70R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A Tires that are
wrapped around Rally Rims which give this car a fantastic look and
an even better ride. The interior on this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette
is exquisite! The bucket seats are upholstered in Black leather
which is just how this car came right off the St. Louis factory
floor. The dash, black carpeting, door panels and woodgrain
steering wheel all have a fantastic look as well. The dash appears
to be in its stock configuration, equipped with a 160 MPH
speedometer, 7,000 RPM tachometer, water temperature gauge, oil
pressure gauge, battery gauge, and fuel gauge. A clock is mounted
in the middle of the dash as well and upgraded AM/FM/Cassette
entertainment system has been added so that you can listen to all
of your tunes cruising down the road. Whether you're looking for a
Mid-Year C2 Coupe to add to your collection or you're looking for
your very first classic car, this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
would make an excellent choice. Give us a call today!
