This 1984 "Bullnose" Ford Bronco is a 1 Owner truck that spent its
life in New Mexico. Miles are believed to be original and we don't
see too many original Bullnose broncos like this anymore. The body
on this Bronco is in awesome condition! It is a clean New mexico
body with no rust. This vehicle has been repainted once because of
sun fading years ago. The original colors were white and medium
bright blue. When it was repainted they went with white and teal.
The paint is older and showing its age with patina, but it still
looks great! All of the chrome and trim is original and in great
shape. The underside is extremely clean and still has primer on the
floors. There are no rust issues with this rig and there never have
been.
The interior is really clean and original with the exception of the
dash cover. It is in really nice original condition. The original
plaid/tweed seats are still in amazing condition and look really
cool. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals
are working. The horn, heat, wipers, and gauges are all working.
This truck just had a bunch of work done to the AC before we
purchased, but is currently not working. It also had aftermarket
cruise added at some point which is not working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent!! It starts easy and runs and
drives wonderful. It is just a really tight Bronco and it is easy
to tell the miles are original based on this. The engine is the
original 302 V8 (5.0L) that runs strong. It still stock and
recently had a fresh tune-up with new belts, rebuilt carb, new
alternator, and new fuel pump. The original owner spent around
$2400 in preventive maintenance in early 2021. This bronco has the
rare and fun manual transmission that shifts great. It is a 4 Speed
Manual with an Overdrive so it is a 5 Speed manual. It is mated to
the Borg Warner Manual Transfer Case and the 4WD works like it
should. The rear axle is the Ford 8.8 Inch with 3.55 gears. The
front axle is the Dana 44 TTB with 3.55 gears. This is all sitting
on stock ford wheels with newer 31 Inch BFG All Terrains. Cool rig
for an everyday driver or weekend cruiser!!
