For Sale at Auction: 1936 Buick Roadmaster in Concord, North Carolina
Lot #148-1936 Buick Roadmaster 80 Series 4-Door Sedan- Super rare
80 Series Roadmaster Touring Sedan. Over $45,000 in receipts for a
professional restoration that was completed in 1990, then put on
display in a museum until 2020. Reportedly, less than 1900 of these
beauties were ever produced. (Source: Old Car Database) Very rare
dual side mounted spare wheels and tires. It's powered by a freshly
rebuilt 320 cubic inch inline "Straight 8" engine and coupled to a
3-speed manual transmission with an optional high speed rear
differential. Seller says that this running gear combination allows
for effortless highway cruising speeds. For being painted over 30
years ago, the Raven Black exterior shows amazing. The Mohair
interior and cockpit appointments epitomize the luxury era of the
1930's. This is truly a work of art that would be perfectly at home
at a cruise-in, or any formal occasion.
