original condition with just over 12
thousand miles currently showing on the odometer. The F134
Hurricane inline 4 cylinder is
believed to have come with the vehicle and a three-speed manual
transmission are equipped.
The interior of this vehicle is in original condition and does show
signs of the vehicle's age
throughout. A new soft top has been installed under the current
owner. The exterior does show
it's age in some areas, though for the most part the exterior has
been well preserved. The
vehicle is able to run and drive. Overall, this vehicle is an
incredible time capsule that the next
enthusiast can choose to restore or enjoy as is.
The Jeepster is an automobile originally produced by
Willys-Overland Motors from 1948 to
1950. It was developed in hopes of filling a gap in the company's
product line, crossing over
from their "utilitarian" proto SUVs and trucks to the passenger
automobile market. The basic
model included numerous deluxe features and interior fittings in
addition to a high level of
standard equipment that cost extra on other automobiles. A total of
almost 20,000 were
manufactured.
