Vehicle Description
1958 BENTLEY S1 SALOON "S" The Bentley "S" was built from 1955 -
1959. Its 4887cc F-head 6-cylinder made Bentley's traditional
"adequate" horsepower more than just adequate. Power was being
diffused in the late 50's with accessories like power steering and
power braking. The 4.9 gave Bentley all it needed to meet
ancillaries' needs and still leave most traffic in its stately
wake. The "Standard Steel Saloon" from the Crewe factory was
elegant and appointed lavishly. This is a choice example of the S1.
It is Nicely Equipped with Automatic Transmission, Standard Power
Steering, Power-Assisted Brakes, Fog lamps, AM-FM Sound System, Set
of Large & Small Hand Tools, White Side Wall Tyres, Picnic Trays &
Much More. It was owned for many years by a Bentley Aficionado who
with pride, maintained it in Excellent cosmetic and mechanical
condition, but more importantly ready to be used and driven on a
moment's notice. The paint, chrome, upholstery, and interior trim
are Excellent. The Original interior wood trim, is yet very good.
This is a postwar Bentley that has been maintained to be driven and
used and it performs those tasks with the quality and comfort that
Bentley owners expect. A Bentley driver will not go wrong with this
1958 Bentley S1 Saloon. Finished in Stunning Deep Blue over Tudor
Grey with Grey Hydes and Blue Wilton Wool Carpet, this Southern
Classic S1 has traveled only 46,000 fully documented miles from
