Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1972 Porsche 914 1.7. This
914 is finished in Signal Orange over black interior and is showing
96,000 miles. It is a fairly original car with one repaint in the
correct color and it retains its Bosch fuel injection. The wheels
have been upgraded to a period correct 15-inch Minilite-style
alloys wearing nearly full depth Hankook Ventus tires and a sport
exhaust is fitted.
Power comes from a 1.7 liter flat-four mated to a five-speed manual
gearbox; we were pleasantly surprised with the performance on tap
from this example. Paint shows to a good driver standard; the
original interior is tidy and intact but has some splits in the
seats and dash. We've noted a small amount of rust underneath in
the typical places.
The 914 offers a unique, open air-driving experience with its
removable roof panel and very balanced handling wrapped in bodywork
that will not be mistaken for anything else on the road. Spare tire
and original owner's manual are included. For more information
