Vehicle Description
This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette has a thoughtful custom style on the
outside, the best luxuries on the inside, and its numbers-matching
V8 under the hood. It makes for one classic that's sharply distinct
and a great cruiser.
There have been some quality investments in the exterior, and the
overall look of the clean body panels announce it nicely. This one
has some cool vintage-style additions. It was converted to the
chrome bumper style with shining brightwork front and rear. And the
Glowing Yellow paint reminds us of the Corvette's rare War Bonnet
Yellow. But this is a fresh and modern application - done within
the last two years - with plenty of metallic shine. There are more
custom pieces, like the billet grille, painted hood stripe, and
matching tail stripe. Plus, the upgraded 18-inch alloys have a
particularly sporty style. And those extra-wide rear ones are on
air shocks that are adjusted from inside the car.
The black interior has a terrific look. Since you also have the
black stripes on the outside, it makes for a great excuse to take
out the T-tops and show off the full package. Supple leather seats,
tasteful wood, and nice details (like the Stingray floor mats and
working dome light) make this quite an inviting classic. And you
have great features like power windows, an upgraded AM/FM stereo
with Bluetooth, and cold-blowing air conditioning. The upgraded
wood-rimmed steering wheel is on a tilt/telescopic column, and the
full gauge package gets you ready for driving.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. But as
you investigate the motor, you also see the right upgrades. Some
add power like the Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock
Intake. Others add better drivability, like the HEI distributor and
a new radiator with electric fans. It fires up eagerly and hits the
road with confidence. Four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering,
a three-speed automatic transmission, and the fully independent
sports suspension make for a solid all-around driver's classic.
Upgraded, vintage, loaded, and awesome all describe this Stingray.
