Porsche Speedster replica project. The hard work is already
finished. The body is properly mounted and the doors and panels
open and close properly. Gaps are good. There's no sign of damage
to the fiberglass. It is built on a 1970 Beetle chassis. The pans
are solid. No signs of structural corrosion or previous damage. The
paint is OK and could be made to look better, but it not show
quality.
Titled as a 1970 VW
This is a running and driving project. The engine runs fine, the
brakes work well and it can be driven around in a parking lot.
Don't plan on driving it home. Steering wheel shown in pictures
does not fit properly nor does it come with the car. At least you
can joke with your friends that you bought a car that didn't even
have a steering wheel.
There is no manufacturers brand mark or tag on the body. I'm
guessing it is a Classic Motor Carriages.
Additional parts included with the car:
Windshield and trim
Windshield side mounts
Nice red carpet kit
Red door panels
VW instrument cluster
Excellent red upholstered seats
Black vinyl top
Pair of side curtains
Black tonneau cover
Three-piece dash front padding
2 convertible top bows
Exterior door handles
Interior door handles
This is a very good Speedster project
