Just released from long term storage that we acquired from an
estate, Champion Motors International, LLC presents this 1957 Buick
Special 46R. Designed to outstyle the 57 Chevy and Oldsmobiles of
the day with the swooping body lines, two tone paint scheme and
moldings on the side, it came with an engine that was specific to
Buick. GM offered 4 models for 1957, the Special, the Century, the
Super and the Roadmaster. Each offered different styling cues on
the side. 1957 was the only year Buick and Oldsmobile had the three
piece rear window, making this model pretty unique and hard to
find. This example was started and spent the first twenty years in
Florida and was last inspected in 1977, with the sticker still
fixed to the windshield. This car is a great preservation example
and would benefit from a thorough detail and some minor mechanical
sorting as it is largely original. Starts and runs well at first
turn of the key. Driven just 44,642 miles. Once completed would
make a great cruiser to enjoy with your family. We have the
paperwork from when our client purchased this car back in 1995 at a
Kruse International Auburn Spring Motorfair Sale, including the
bidder catalog, V.I.P. Pass and windshield card identifying the lot
number. There is also some older service receipts, the original
1957 Buick Owner's Guide and an edition of the April 1995 Buick
Bugle in excellent condition. *While every reasonable effort is
made to ensure the accuracy of this information, we are not
