This '49 truck sports an original Chevrolet color of Omaha Orange and features the white painted inner grille bars that was new for the 1949 model year. It rides on 15-inch wheels with white/black Chevrolet branded hubcaps that contribute to the overall classic appearance of the truck. Other exterior features include turn signal lights, wood bed floor, black steps and bumpers, various chrome trim pieces, and white side mirrors. Overall, this truck has the true American look and looks great going down any road.
The interior of this Chevrolet 3600 sports a grey dashboard, black floors, and a brown bench seat. The floor mounted shifter is conveniently located and easy to use. A unique feature of these trucks is the floor mounted starter button that was placed to the right of the gas pedal. Accompanying what appears to be the original gauges is a Mopar Model 62 Truck Master heater that has been installed under the dashboard on the passenger side.
