1972 Porsche 914-6 vintage race car. VIN 4722920143. Full roll cage with correct rockers box reinforcements incorporated in build. 914-6 GT fiberglass body panels including the hood, rear deck lid, bumpers, rockers, and front valance, help keep this car lightened to minimum (SVRA)legal weight. “Best of everything” 255 BHP Musante built 2.5 liter and fitted with 46mm PMO carburetors. A large front mounted oil cooler has been installed. Exhaust exits through stainless steel headers and cookie cutter megaphones. A 915 transaxle was built by G-box to include uprated shift forks & engine matched ratios (ratios available on request). The transaxle is equipped with a torsen limited slip differential, and is kept cool with a front mounted fluid cooler and pump. Shifting is performed through a WEVO shifter and 915 tail housing conversion. Power is driven to the transaxle through an RSR sport clutch. Brakes are 911 “S” aluminum calipers with vented rotors in the front, and “M” calipers in the rear. Suspension upgrades include, Weltmeister adjustable front anti- sway bar, Weltmeister mono-balls, and Elephant Racing front strut housings. Koni adjustable shocks are fitted on all 4 corners. The front suspension has been converted to accept 911 torsion bars. The rear suspension has adjustable spring perches. Reinforced trailing arms control the rear suspension and are equipped with Patrick Motorsports adjustable toe links for simple wheel alignment. 15x7” front & 15x8” rear Fuchs wheels shod with Hoosier race rubber. 15 x 6” “Phone Dial” wheels are included for rain use. Other upgrades include front brake ducting, Autometer instrumentation, fire system, Kirkey seat, ATL fuel cell, Holly fuel pump and all needed to go racing.
