Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 23rd year in the
classic and muscle car business. 1962 was an important year in the
life of Chevrolet's Corvette, with several 'firsts' and 'lasts'
that would become milestones for future collectors. It was the last
year for the iconic side coves, the solid rear axle, and the
roadster-only Corvettes. 1962 was also the first year for the
legendary 327 V8, a standard heater, no two-tone side coves, and no
multiple carburetor options. This sexy Sateen Silver 1962 Corvette
is a fine example of the breed and a great car in which to explore
the visceral pleasures that early Corvettes are known and loved
for. This cruiser is powered by a period correct (1962) 327 V8
that's been fortified with an Edelbrock Performer 2101 aluminum
intake manifold and an Edelbrock carburetor beneath the correct air
cleaner. Additional features include the rebuilt numbers matching
4-speed manual transmission with a new clutch, shifter, and
linkage, new carpet, door cards, leather wrapped wheel, and custom
leather upholstery, new fuel tank and sending unit, new tires, new
master cylinder, and rebuilt brakes. This is an entertaining and
well-sorted car that's ready to be driven and enjoyed by a new
caretaker. Ray-Bans, sunscreen, and Route 66 map not included. Come
by and meet the team that can make your dream a reality. Street
Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist
with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
