Vehicle Description
This 1989 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado is instantly distinct. A
chopped cab, extra sleek style, and a full custom interior make
this truck memorable for far more than just its award-worthy
paint.
The metallic red paint is a terrific way to announce this is a full
custom build. It has the kind of radiant style that can't help but
attract everyone's attention. This ultra-smooth paint helps to
highlight the special body kit, shaved door handles, sport mirrors,
and custom front end with air dam and cowl hood for a sporty style
that's more aggressive than even Chevy own SS pickups. Plus, we
love how this one gives you its own personal take on classic hot
rod style with the Cadillac-style tail lights, louvered tailgate,
and a full hand-painted graphics package. They even gave you the
vintage look of real wood in the truck bed. There's plenty of added
shine from the upgraded headlights, Corvette-style quad exhaust
tips, and a terrific set of modern 20-inch alloys. But what will
really have people talking is the three-inches chopped out of the
roof for a great lowered profile. It's part of what proves they
invested big $$$$ in giving this Silverado a true custom and sporty
style.
Everyone tends to take note when you have a remote key fob that
pops the doors. So it's nice to the see that the deep red of the
exterior continues inside. You can see there was a solid investment
in custom upgrades including the red leather grip of the Boyds
steering wheel. That also has some nice chrome that goes with the
upgraded metal on the pedals, dash, and full-length custom center
console. And speaking of the console, you'll even spot the TV and
VCR mounted within. We like the way it's pure retro-cool, but if
you feel like updating, this custom console will also likely make a
nice place to mount the components for a modern stereo. And this
one is already loaded with the best features, like high-back bucket
seats, power windows, cruise control, and cold-blowing air
conditioning.
The engine bay is truly show-ready. Not only are the fenders and
firewall painted the same exterior red, but also there was a big
investment in polished components. You see it in all the best
details, like the valve covers, steel braided lines, and pulleys.
So we dare you to find another place that could be shining or
color-matched. At the center is a hardy 350 cubic-inch V8 topped
with a Street and Performance TPI fuel injection system. And the
headers help this exhale with added power and rumble into the
Magnaflow dual exhaust. There is a stout TH400 three-speed
automatic transmission to handle the power. Plus, that helps make
it an easy cruiser. The same goes for the power steering, power
brakes, front discs, and modern sport tires.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a true uniform build that has
been heavily invested in to create a striking total package. Call
