Vehicle Description
The bold red style, A/C interior, and overdrive transmission are
some terrific features that make this 1969 Chevrolet El Camino
desirable. But what makes this pickup irresistible is the serious
big block power under the hood that lets it really haul.
Bright red paint is always the right choice on a powerful muscle
machine. We like how the gloss shows off the good sheet metal and
looks good with the bright chrome bumpers. At the same time, it has
enough use that you won't be afraid of utilizing the pickup nature
of this El Camino. Of course, if you need added luster, the modern
clearcoat means your desired finish is only a professional
detail/buff away. This was done with plenty of Super Sport style,
including the blacked-out SS grille, dual power bulges in the hood,
and proper SS badging. Plus, the bright exhaust tips and 15-inch
American Racing wheels add to this sporty style.
Like its Chevelle siblings, the interior of the El Camino is a
great place to spend some time. The black bench seat is clean and
complete, you have a smooth dash, and there are nice details, like
the El Camino floor mats. It also has added comforts from upgrades
like the AM/FM/CD stereo system with upgraded speaker and factory
air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. There
are also driver-oriented upgrades like the wood-rimmed steering
wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, and the B&M floor shifter.
We know the Chevelle/El Camino line is great for fitting some
serious big block power under the hood. So we love seeing this 454
cubic-inch V8 upgrade. In fact, more than just displacement, this
has been enhanced with a big Holley four-barrel carburetor, an
Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake, and headers feeding into a rumbling
dual exhaust. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is a
terrific pairing that is built for stout power and overdrive
comfort. And this connects to a strong 12-bolt rear end. There's
also power steering, power brakes, front discs, and upgraded rear
suspension arms to deliver a solid total driving package.
Nice upgrades, plenty of power, and a dose of practicality - this
El Camino is the kind of car that will be fun to drive anytime and
useful when you need it. Call now!
