This Chevelle has the look. The color, stance and wheels are hot.
Actually it's more than just a pretty face. Big block power is
delivered through a new 5-speed trans to the posi rear. New custom
suspension and brakes make the curvy roads a pleasure. Someone will
really enjoy this car.
EXTERIOR: There is zero rust on the body. It has new GM quarter
panels and front fenders. Under the doors it has a clean seam. The
body is really straight and fits very nicely. The trunk lock was
removed and filled. The Lemans Blue metal flake paint is laid out
evenly, it has a glossy and smooth clear coat finish. No vinyl top.
In front the bumper is recromed, emblem is new, grill is good. The
emblems, marker lights, mirrors, door handles, chrome grills on the
hood have all been replaced. In back the bumper, tail lights,
emblems, moldings are new. It has the blacked out SS panel. The
stainless trim around the windows and gutters have been replaced.
Windshield looks new, the rest of the glass is good original. The
door jambs are painted real nice, door latches look new. The
weatherstrips and window seals have been replaced. New 17 inch
torque thrust wheels and tires, fatter in the back.
INTERIOR: Down on the floor it has new carpet, sill plates and
embroidered Chevelle floormats. There is also a complete set of new
reproduction seat belts. There is also a custom console between the
bucket seats with power window switches, a cup holder, USB ports
and the best part- a 5-speed Hurst shifter! The seats and headrests
have been replaced. Door panels have been replaced. The headliner
is new but does have some wrinkles. New custom instrument panel
with with a full set of custom gauges. Some unique features include
a push button starter, push button electric emergency brake and
power trunk release button. New heater control panel. The FiTech
digital control panel is in the center console.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 454 big block engine, on top is an Edlebrock
intake with a new FiTech self tuning fuel injection system, new HEI
ignition system and it is dressed up with a nice looking set of
tall custom valve covers. It has a new set of coated Patriot
headers. The front of the motor has big pulleys and belt, new
alternator and power steering pump. It runs cool with a new
aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, aluminum water pump and a
polished overflow bottle. It also has a new power brake system and
new wiper motor. It is complete- the squirters are hooked up, it
has hood insulation, the battery is bolted down and has a
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Converted to a power trunk release with gas
struts to lift it up. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
real slick. Super clean, dry metal has been neatly spatter painted.
It has a carpet mat, 5th brand new matching tire and wheel for a
spare. It has a complete jack assembly. There's also a folder full
of documentation and a and a box with miscellaneous parts.
UNDERSIDE: All new lowered suspension. The front end is rebuilt and
upgraded with tubular control arms and coil over adjustable gas
shocks. In back it's upgraded with red tubular upper and lower
control arms, adjustable QA-1 coil over gas shocks and a sway bar.
It has a complete 20 gallon fuel injection tank kit. Very nicely
installed exhaust system, all welded joints, small Flowmaster
mufflers, the tailpipes are tucked up under the car with turndown
chrome tips. All new upgraded brake system drilled and slotted
rotors with red calipers at each wheel. All new brake lines, hoses
and e-brake assembly. It has a new electronic e-brake system. The
floors look solid. Frame was sanded and painted with POR 15.
Looking up at the motor it is fresh Chevy orange, has a high torque
starter and a chrome bell housing. Recently upgraded with a GM TK0
600 5-speed Tremec trans. It also has a powder coated crossmember
and brackets, new reverse light harness and a McLeod hydraulic
clutch. New driveshaft and u-joints. In back it's a 12 bolt rear
end with a 3.50 posi, new bearings, seals and an aluminum
I like this one, it has that special vibe. Have a blast driving it
and look good doing it!
