his 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute convertible has an awesome
color combo, upgraded big block, and an overdrive transmission. It
all makes for an ionic drop-top that maximizes both its powerful
and true cruiser style.
The silver paint is there to give you an instant attraction. It has
all the right modern gloss that lets this convertible radiate
nicely in the sunshine. The body looks quite smooth with good panel
fit and gaps Plus, the chrome bumpers look new and the good glass
gives this an overall quality appearance. As an SS tribute, you get
the blackout grille and rear panel, and that goes well with the
black folding roof. And the dual power dome hood, SS badging, Rally
wheels, and distinct redline tires give this sharp-looking Chevelle
plenty of sporty style, too.
With the flip of a switch, the roof powers down to reveal a full
black interior. So this one has an attractive style against the
glossy silver paint no matter if the top is up or down. This has a
factory-style presentation inside, and you can also see they
invested wisely in the fundamentals. So you have a newer feeling on
the door panels, headliner, carpeting, and dash. We especially like
the look of the seats that have good covers that keep the classic
button-top style. There are also the right upgrades. For example,
the Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo has better driving music. It's an easy
cruiser with a three-spoke sports steering wheel, tilt column, and
auxiliary gauge trio under the dash.
When you open the hood, a 454 cubic-inch big block V8 is filling
the engine bay. It has a clean and tidy style where the valve
covers, matching air grabber, and orange block all radiate from
within the dark inner walls. Plus, there are newer supporting
components, like the brake booster, electronic distributor,
alternator, and fuel pump. The big V8 fires up eagerly as it
inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake.
The dual exhaust makes a terrific sound that will make you want to
cruise this one all weekend, and thanks to the four-speed automatic
transmission w/overdrive, you can do it with ease. This well-done
package feels great on the road thanks to power steering, and power
brakes w/discs upfront.
This is the distinct drop-top with all the right features for power
and poise. Call now!
